Morocco forecasts economic growth of 3.7 pct in 2020

RABAT, July 26 (Xinhua) -- A report presented at the weekly cabinet meeting forecasts an economic growth of 3.7 percent for Morocco in 2020, the official newspaper Le Matin said Friday.

The report shows an improve in GDP growth in 2020 compared to the forecast 2.9-percent growth for 2019.

According to the report presented on Thursday by Minister of Finance Mohamed Benchaaboun, the Moroccan government is seeking to maintain the budget deficit rate at 3 percent, in line with forecasts for the coming years. Enditem
