Dunhuang achieves 100 pct green electricity for entire year

Deep in China's Gobi Desert, the city of Dunhuang ran 100 percent on wind, solar, and hydropower in 2025. With power to spare, Dunhuang even sent extra clean energy to other provinces. It's a shining example of how desert cities can go green.■
